Original Post

This is a very well-organized and informative post by Neil. In his blog post, he presented some of the challenges he encountered with PowerPoint presentations during his study in UVic, and clearly listed what elements made these presentations ineffective and contradicted the suggestions by the PowerPoint experts. The blog post utilizes great sources of multimedia in which the content is relative and the design is very neat. In the post, he followed the dual coding theory, the coherence principle, and the personalization principle (to name a few). As a small piece of recommendation, images could be more integrated into the main content by creating more descriptive captions or linkage with the main text.
